Memory Laps

My grandma, see’s my Dad,
a few times a year.
She says,
“Oh my baby done got so big.”

My grandma see’s me
a few times a year
and says,
“Oh my baby done got so big.”

I see my grandma a few times a year
And when she says my name,
I wonder—
Which one of us does she see today?
